Former Baby Spice from the Spice Girls has just gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend, with whom she’s also expecting her second child. The star made the announcement on her Twitter page.
With it, she included a photo of her diamond ring. Apparently, Jade Jones proposed on her birthday, because Emma first tweeted “I had the best birthday!!.”

Hours later, she was tweeting again, this time to break the news to her 170,000+ fans / followers. A wedding date has not been mentioned yet.
“Yahooooo I’m Engaged! Love you Jade! I’m a very happy lady!!” Emma tweeted, including a photo of herself flashing her diamond ring and the happiest smile ever.
“Thank you for all your lovely messages, I haven’t stopped smiling for days!!!!” she added a few hours later in response to the many congratulatory messages she’d received.
Back in November, Emma, 35, and Jade, 31, who have been together for 11 years, announced they were expecting their second child together.
The happy couple also has a 3-year-old son named Beau. Further details on the second child and the upcoming wedding have not yet been made public.
Emma Bunton is just one of the many celebrities to break the news of their engagement on Twitter, getting a head start on their publicists and, most importantly, the tabloids and celebrity blogs.
After the Christmas holidays, Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, who had repeatedly promised never to walk down the aisle again, announced he’d proposed to girlfriend number one Crystal Harris.
Because his initial tweet was a bit vague as regards whether the ring he gave Crystal was an engagement one or not, The Hef returned with further details later on, to avoid any confusion.
“After the movie tonight, Crystal & I exchanged gifts. I gave Crystal a ring. A truly memorable Christmas Eve,” Hugh first tweeted.
“Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn’t mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all,” he added a few hours later.
